Polina Guzeeva and Yulia Ta
Stand D 11Polina Guzeeva is a young artist working in a figurative and expressive style. Her specific manner of drawing figures reflects hidden anxiety and inner struggle in relationships with spirituality, self, and body. Polina Guzeeva's art explores avoided and often taboo topics through subjective experience and visual discomfort.
Julia Ta's works are a kind of transitional stage between painting and sculpture. They are based on the play of colors and shapes. The unique material invented by Julia allows her to work with volume, complex shapes and unusual textures, becoming hard and durable when drying. Yulia Ta creates art objects from it, among other things.
Presented in tandem, their works embody the complexity of human emotions. Because of their visual inconsistency, they do not compete for attention, but unite into a single representation, thus easily moving from complex to simple.
